This extremely rare piece of art is in perfect condition except for minor chips and scratches on the stopper.
Background information:
The tragic period of Estonian history in the first part of the 20th century was vividly reflected in the life of Johannes Lorup, an enterprising and aspiring man who had fought in the Estonian War of Independence, then established the largest ordinary and crystal glass factory in Estonia and become the trendsetter in that field – and ended up being deported by the Soviet occupying authorities from his native country to a death camp.
