This is a vintage ceramic decorative wall plate designed by the legendary Estonian ceramicist Leo Rohlin in 1972, produced by the Tallinn Building Ceramics Factory (Tallinna Ehituskeraamikatehas (TEKT)).
It features sgraffito work, where the top dark slip/engobe coating is meticulously carved away to reveal the lighter clay body underneath, creating the stylised portrait of a woman interwoven with tree leaves and flowing hair.
